I''m Tiffany Fouwler, you may know me from the Toy Library or elsewhere around town... if I haven''t met you, I hope to soon!

I''ve lived in Waiuku for four and half years with my husband Rene and our daughters, 7 year old Evelyn and 5 year old Aurora). We love the pace of semi-rural life after moving from our previous house on a busy 4-lane highway in the city.

I also love being part of the local community, and I''m looking forward to helping the Library settle into its new home right in the heart of Waiuku.

Currently we have 32 member families and we hope to expand the membership so that we can open more often, and possibly for longer periods at a time.

We have some fantastic family events lined up for 2020/2021, most of which we are able to bring to the community with the support of local funding bodies like Franklin Local Board. As acting Grants Officer it''s really rewarding to secure grants to enable these events to go ahead.

Despite two wee ones in tow, we are very grateful Kelly put her hand up to help the Library out in the Treasurer''s role for another year. Coming to the committee with involvement in Franklin Parents Centre, Kelly is already proving to be a great asset to our team.

We have plenty of room for more non-office holding positions on the committee. Have fun, meet awesome people (humble... us?) and help out a great local charity at the same time.

Glenbrook School families may recognise our new Toy Buyer. A teacher at Glenbrook School, Kristy and her family are recent additions to the Franklin area.

Kristy brings a primary teaching perspective and expertise in developmental play to the Toy Library - very helpful as we work through the challenging task of updating our inventory!
